“Taco” is a stunning colt with a long flaxen mane and the kindest eye, is a great loper with a low profile and conformationally correct in every aspect.
He has had some ground work done, is well handled and extremely well mannered. Friendly, easy to catch, ties well, loads, is good for the farrier and is not studdy at all. He grew up in a herd setting and has very good social skills.
It breaks my heart to let him go, he was supposed to be our next superstar but he will likely not hold up to a career as a performance horse due to an injury sustained as a yearling, and we do not need a stallion. He would be the perfect outcross on any Gunner bred mare!
Taco’s dam is a multiple NRHA bronze trophy winner, CCRHA Open Derby L4 Champion, Reining Alberta NRHA L1 Open Derby champion and has produced the 2024 CCRHA L4 Open Futurity champion and SRHA L4 Open Futurity Reserve champion.
This horse has been raised right, and received the best care all along. He’s up to date on vaccinations, trims, deworming and had his teeth done this spring.
He had a recent check up with the vet and was given the go ahead to start some light work.
X-rays and vet report is available for serious buyers.
